Of course, books have an influence on our lives. We all seek in them an escape from the daily grind, wish to forget when we’re down, find new pointers on our way. Yet in this project I’d like to present not a single favourite book of mine but an opportunity not to part with the entirety of one’s own beloved library even for a day or an hour. Such an opportunity presented itself to me with the acquirement of an e-book reader. There are no more problems of reading whilst in a darkened bus, in a lengthy queue, on a beach under the blinding sun… Any of hundreds of cherished books is always in my bag.

Protams, grāmatām ir ietekme uz mūsu dzīvi. Mēs visi meklējam tajās izeju no ikdienas rutīnas, vēlamies aizmirsties skumjā brīdī, atrast jaunas norādes savā ceļā. Bet šī projekta ietvaros es vēlētos nevis paziņot par vienu savu mīļāko grāmatu, bet gan par iespēju nešķirties no visas savas mīļās bibliotēkas kaut uz dienu vai stundu. Šāda iespēja man pavērās līdz ar e-grāmatu lasītāja nonākšanu manās rokās. Vairs nepastāv problēmu lasīt, braucot tumšā autobusā, gaidot garā rindā vai esot pludmalē zem apžilbinošas saules... Jebkura no iecienīto grāmatu simtiem ir vienmēr manā somā.
